Psychiatric care in Dallas–Fort Worth

Care begins with a thorough psychiatric evaluation. At your first appointment, we will review your history, current symptoms, and goals of treatment. During your visit, we will determine a working diagnosis and develop a care plan that is right for you. Follow-up appointments are scheduled to track progress and adjust course when needed.

Medication is one part of that plan rather than the whole of it. When we recommend one, we say what it is for, what it should do, and what to watch for. As a plan grows more complicated over time, we reconsider whether each medication is still needed.

We take an integrated approach to care. Medication management, therapy, and interventional treatments are all available within one practice, which allows a treatment plan to move from one approach to another without a change of physician. We also coordinate with primary care physicians, therapists, and other specialists involved in your care, and we take your medical conditions and other medications into account when making treatment decisions.

Our fees are published so that you know the cost before you schedule. An initial psychiatric evaluation is 60 minutes at $450, a medication follow-up is 25 minutes at $200, and a medication-plus-therapy follow-up is 50 minutes at $300. TMS and Spravato are quoted individually and in writing before treatment begins.

The plans we are in network with are listed on the Insurance and Fees page, and that list is updated as each contract takes effect. Credentialing is underway with commercial insurers in Texas, with Medicare, and with Medicare Advantage plans. Until a plan appears on that list, care is provided on a self-pay basis for patients with that plan. We provide an itemized receipt, sometimes called a superbill, that you may submit to your insurer for out-of-network reimbursement if your plan offers it.
